1ST COMPETITION FOR SATISFACTION CUP - POSTOJNA
18/12/2004

In first competition for winter Satisfaction cup in Slovenia, which was held in school sports hall on carpet I was first in both agility and jumping run with Cita and won A3 Large category.
Sara and Cap, probably because lack of regular trainings didn't run good (results).

CITIES CUP FINALS - ZAPRESIC
14/11/2004

In last this year's agility competition in Croatia I ran with Puppy (she was 4th) and Cita (without bigger success), and Sara ran with Cap (she was first in jumping).
Tomislav with Pip won A1 Large class and Janja with our Glen was 2nd. Congratulations!
In this competition there was 7 Mawlch dogs running (results).

Overall in this year's Cities Cup Sara gain 3rd place with Cap in A2-Open Large, and Janja with Glen was 2nd in A1 Large (results overall).

SLOVENIAN CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS - HRUSICA

In Slovenian national championship finals, which was held in Hrusica, small town very close to Slovenian-Austrian border (near Karawanken tunnel), I was competing with Puppy and Cita. Sara didn't participate because the same time she was with Cap on international search and rescue exercise in Ljubljana.
With my old dear Puppy I didn't made good result, but with Cita I was first in both runs (results).

SLOVENIAN CHAMPIONSHIP - NAKLO

>In competition in Naklo I ran with Puppy and Cita. Sara ran with Cap, but only 1st run. In agility run I made stupid mistake with Cita in the beginning of the course and got DK, but I finished run without mistake. In the same run Puppy knocked 3rd jump so we finished on 6th place.

In jumping I ran without fault with both Cita and Puppy - Cita was 1st and Puppy 3rd in that run.
Because Cap was limping a little after agility run Sara didn't run jumping with him (results).

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 2004 - MONTICHIARI

This year's high point of agility season - World Championship - was held in Italy, in the sport hall "Palageorge" in the small town of Montichiari. 255 top competitors (126 Large, 61 Medium, 68 Small) from 34 countries participated in the event.
The members of the Croatian team were: Alen Marekovic and Cita, Ljubica Ricijas and Zed, Sara Marekovic and Cap, Tanja Janes and Miska, Zrinka Stritof and Adrie, and Zeljko Gora and Mel.

I ran with Cita both in team and individual and Sara ran only individual. The first day of the Championship wasn't very successful for us - Sara was DK and Cita knocked one bar three jumps before the end of the course. The next day of the competition was very exciting, Croatia was in a lead after the agility team run. But we (Tanja, Zeljko and I) blew it in jumping :-(. On Sunday in the agility individual both Sara and I did very well, she was in 4th place with Cap, I was in 7th with Cita. Without that one knocked bar Cita and I would be 2nd in the individual competition (results).

EUKANUBA CUP FINAL - TRZIC

On the final competition for the Slovenian Cup Sara did a great job by winning agility 2 run and therefore confirmed her progress to A3 class.
I was in the lead after agility 3 run with Cita, but due to a small mistake in jumping 3 run I was placed in 2nd place that day.
In the overall placement in this year's Eukanuba cup in A3 Large category the winner was Tanja with Miska, and Cita and I were 3rd.

EUKANUBA CUP COMPETITION -ZAGORJE OB SAVI

In Zagorje on the river Sava Cita and I were 1st in both (A3/J3) runs and we won in A3 Large category. The 2nd and 3rd place in the same category were won by our friends - Tanja Janes with Miska and Mitja Znidaric with Mawlch Ceri (results).

AGILITY BY NIGHT - LUXEMBOURG

In the little town of Bettembourg in Luxembourg a three-day-long night competition named "Agility By Night" was held. That was the first time that Sara and I (and also our friends from KOSSP Zagreb) competed in that lovely little European country.
Sara and I accomplished our best placements on Friday, the first day of the competition, when Sara and Cap won A2 Large, and I won with my old Puppy in A3 Large category.

AGILITY SEMINAR AND JUDGING IN VIENNA
06-07/08/2004

In August I was in Vienna - I held a two-day seminar and I also judged an agility competition. The chief organizer and my dear host was Alexandra Stieger from the dog club OEGV HSC Wien West.
For the first time since I've been holding seminars there were more Small and Medium dogs and that was very intriguing. I was additionally happy about that because there would certainly be less problems with the contact zones :-).
The handlers worked in three groups, but they all listened to the theoretical part together. I enjoyed working with them and I hope that they learned something new.

At the competition named "Agility Fun Cup" there were around 80 competitors (four of them were from Croatia). Sara didn't seize the advantage of my judging with Cap :-), but she was 2nd in Veterans with Toto.
Tomislav and Pip won the 1st place in A1 Large category and progressed to the 2nd degree. Congratulations!

3RD EUROPEAN OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP - BÖBINGEN
24-25/07/2004

At the 3rd European Open Championship about 480 competitors were present every day of the competition, from that over 270 dogs in Large. The team event was held on Saturday and the individual on Sunday. One of the teams from Croatia, which consisted only of competitors with Croatian Sheepdogs, won 2nd place from 74 teams in the agility team run! The members of that team were: Tanja Janes with Edi and Miska, Alen Marekovic with Cita and a guest from Slovenia, Tamara Leskovar with Rhei.
On Saturday in the agility run Cita and I gained 4th place, and on Sunday in the jumping run Sara and Cap were also 4th and Cita and I were 8th (results).

EUKANUBA CUP COMPETITION - PORTOROSE

In the competition in Portorose I ran with Puppy for the first time on the large after her "C" section and she was very good. In agility 3 run she was 2nd, right behind Cita, which was 1st. In the overall placement Cita won 2nd place. Sara and Cap ran pretty badly this time (results).

SLOVENIAN CHAMPIONSHIP - LJUBLJANA

In Ljubljana, in a competition organized by the dog club Agility Ilirija, I ran with Cap and Cita. With Cap I was 1st in the agility 2 run, but in the jumping run Cap knocked one bar. Cita and I were the fastest in A3 Large, but we made one mistake.

EUKANUBA CUP COMPETITION - SKOFJA LOKA

In the first competition held in Skofja Loka after full 10 years, Sara was running with Cap and I with Cita. Although we didn't accomplish any results worth mentioning, I felt good in Skofja Loka because right there in that village in Slovenia, in the ancient year of 1993, I competed for the first time abroad.
Beside that, Mawlch Griff (owner Tjasa Gregoric) won 1st place in A2 Large and that was one more reason for high spirits (results).

In CACIAg competition in Slovenia both Sara and I were quite unsuccessful :-) (results).

10TH INTERNATIONAL AGILITY WEEKEND - GEEL, BELGIUM
19-20/06/2004

At the 10 th International agility weekend in Geel I won one Jumping 3 run with Cita and I was 3 times 1st and 2 times 3rd with Puppy (I ran with her in veterans because she wasn't fully recovered yet after her "C" section).

2ND COMPETITION FOR CITIES CUP - VARAZDIN

In Varazdin Sara was running with Cap and I was running with Cita. The results weren't very good, Sara was 4th in agility 2 run and I was 3rd in jumping 2 run (results).

EUKANUBA CUP COMPETITION - LJUTOMER

In the cup competition in Ljutomer I was running with Cita and Cap. This competition wasn't very happy for me because I had to say "goodbye" to 2 of Cita's pups whom I brought to their new owners :-(.
Both with Cap and Cita I was eliminated in the agility run, but I was first, also with both, in jumping 2 and 3 runs.
1st place altogether in A3 Large was won by Tanja Janes with her Croatian Sheepdog Miska.
Our Pip, with her new handler Tomislav, won 2nd place in A1 Large category.
Janja and Glen made their 3rd clear run and progressed to A2 class.
Tjasa and Mawlch Griff were excellent again and won 1st place altogether in A2 Large category. Congratulations! (results).

Although we were almost 4 seconds faster than all the other competitors in agility 3 run, Cita and I didn't accomplish a good result in Maribor. Sara and Cap were equally (un)successful :-).
But I must mention Tjasa Gregoric and her young Mawlch Griff, which were first in agility 2 run (results).

SLOVENIAN CHAMPIONSHIP - SLOVENSKA BISTRICA

In the agility competition in Slovenska Bistrica, Slovenia, I ran with Cita for the first time after she delivered her pups. Cita's "comeback" was very good - she was 1st in jumping and 3rd altogether in A3 Large. In agility 3 run Cita didn't enter slalom correctly, because I was handling her very casually, forgetting that she didn't train for 2 months :-) (results).

SLOVENIAN CHAMPIONSHIP - GORNJA RADGONA

In the agility competition in Gornja Radgona, Slovenia, 6 Mawlch dogs were participating. From Puppy's second litter Cap, Chip (Zorro), Cass (Pip) and Ceri were running.
Zorro won A1 class, and the other three dogs had one mistake each in the agility run. Cap was the fastest in A2 class and Pip the fastest in A1 class and both won 1st place in jumping.
Young Glen and Griff showed lots of enthusiasm, but they lacked experience and a little luck! (results)

AGILITY SEMINAR IN SLOVENIA - LJUBLJANA

My friend Zeljko and I were invited to hold an agility seminar on the terrain of the dog club Krim in Ljubljana. The organizers of the seminar were our good friends from the dog club Agility-Ilirija.
The atmosphere at the seminar was much more casual than I'm used to, but I hope that the participants had a good time and also learned something new.

1ST COMPETITION FOR CITIES CUP - ZAGREB
03/04/2004

In the 1st competition for Croatian Cities Cup, which was organized by our Club KOSSP Zagreb, Sara won 3rd place in A2-open Large with Cap and 2nd was our dear friend from Maribor (Slovenia) Mitja Znidaric with Cap's sister Ceri.
1st place in that category went to Tanja Janes and her Croatian Sheepdog Miska.
In jumping 1 run Janja Kanjuh won 3rd place with our young Glen.

1ST COMPETITION FOR EUKANUBA CUP - PRESTRANEK, SLOVENIA13/03/2004

In the 1st competition for Slovenian Eukanuba cup Sara was competing with Cap and I with his mum Puppy. Sara's Toto is slowly reaching his earned retirement, and Cita is (pregnant and) already "round" like a ball :-).
Sara and Cap were leading after the agility run, but because of a knocked bar they ended on 2nd place overall in A2 Large.
Puppy and I ran very well and won 2nd place in A3 Large overall (results).

WINTER HALLEN CUP FINALS, POTTENDORF, AUSTRIA
22/02/2004

In the 5th and final competition of Austrian Winter cup in Pottendorf I won again with Cita. She was the fastest and 1st in both agility and jumping runs and 1st overall in A3 Large class.
With these new 43 points for the cup placement we remained in the 1st place and became the winner of Winter Hallen Cup 2003/2004.
I must mention that my friend Tanja Janes won 3rd place on the Cup altogether with her Croatian Sheepdog Miska.

STEIRMARK WINTER CUP FINALS, AUSTRIA
22/02/2004

Because of the fact that the finale competitions of both Austrian winter cups were held on the same date, I decided not to participate on Steirmark cup.
Despite the fact that I didn't run in the 3rd and final competition, I managed to remain in the 2nd place with Cita on that Cup altogether.

2ND RUN FOR STEIRMARK WINTER CUP, AUSTRIA

In the riding club in the village of Graschnitz near St. Marein in Mürztal, the 2nd competition for Steirmark winter cup was held.
Sara was running with Cap, but not very successfully.
Puppy was like she was young again, running like hell over the course, she was just a little bit slower than Cita, but she also made (not) the zones like a young dog :-)
Cita repeated her success from the last competition - she was 1st in the agility run and 2nd in the jumping run and overall won Large 3 class.

4TH COMPETITION OF WINTER HALLEN CUP IN POTTENDORF, AUSTRIA

In the 4th competition of Winter cup in Pottendorf near Vienna I was competing with Cita and Cap.
I was very successful with Cita - we won both the agility and jumping runs and were 1st overall in A3 Large class.
Cap and I were 4th and without a mistake in the agility 2 run, but I wasn't happy with that run - I needed to call him twice almost every time in order to get him to turn and we lost lots of time by making big turns. I was much more satisfied with our jumping run, although the placement in it wasn't very good.

1ST RUN FOR STEIRMARK WINTER CUP, AUSTRIA

In the riding hall in Tober near Fladnitz a. d. Teichalmat the 1st competition for Steirischer Agility Winter Cup 2004 was held.
I was running there with Puppy and Cita, and Sara was running with Cap.
Although Cap didn't win anything, both Sara and I were very satisfied with how they ran that day.
Cita was very good, again being the fastest in the agility run, she gained 3rd place overall.
Puppy also ran nicely and gained 4th place overall.
