CITA'S 2ND LITTER

During the night of 7/8 March 2006 our Cita delivered 7 lovely pups - 2 boy (Sokol and Satir) and 5 girls (Siva, Seka, Sasha, Shay and Stela).
Two female pups - the first and last born - have a naturally short tail. The other pups have a complete long tail.
The first born female and first born male pup will be black and tan - that colour is an atavism occasionally seen in Croatian Sheepdog litters, as well as white.

All pups are registered by the Croatian Kennel Club.

Siva is living in Slovenia, Seka is in the Netherlands, Sasha in Italy, Shay in Slovenia with my friend Polona, Sokol in France, Satir in Finland and Stela in Hungary.
They all, except Stela, are doing agility.

I was planning to use Apolon again, as we were completely satisfied with the pups from Cita's first litter - their working drive, temperament, physical predisposition, their agility and appearance. But despite the fact that Cita "danced around" him, and she was willing, Apolon did not want to mount her. It was all really strange, because with their first litter there had been no problem with mating.
We were trying for almost a whole week, and I then decided to use Apolon's beautiful brother, Atos, as sire. That was the closest combination to the one I wanted.
Atos is also an athletically built, fast dog, slightly smaller and curlier than Apolon. He is very friendly with people and dogs and is crazy about playing with a ball and tug-o-war.
